HEAT oven to 350°F. Place brisket in deep baking pan. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange onion slices on top of beef. Stir together shrimp sauce, garlic and beef stock in medium bowl. Pour sauce over meat. Cover tightly with aluminum foil so that foil is not touching meat. Bake 4 hours (one hour per pound). Slice and serve with beef juices.
Try serving with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans.
