Onion Wild Rice Quiche


  • 1 prepared pie crust, unbaked
  • 3/4 cup cooked wild rice
  • 8 strips bacon, diced, cooked crisp
  • 2 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 jar Crosse & Blackwell® Cocktail Onions, (drained & chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half


  1. HEAT oven to 375°F. Line 9-inch pie pan with crust and flute edges. Layer pie with rice, bacon and cheese.
  2. WHISK together eggs, onions and half and half in medium bowl. Pour egg mixture into pie shell.
  3. BAKE 40 minutes or until center is set.
  4. Try adding sliced fresh mushrooms before baking.
